Allonby Cottage's secluded garden

Back Garden The large back garden at the rear of the cottage is laid to lawn and gently slopes up towards the woods behind. It is completely fenced making it secluded and an ideal garden for children to run around in. There is garden furniture and a BBQ set. When sitting in the garden the boats moored on the water can still be seen over the cottage.

Front Garden The front garden is laid mostly to rose beds and small areas of gravel surrounded by a low wall with small double gates onto the road. The view from the garden is beautiful and provides a perfect place to sit in the deckchairs and watch the world go by.

Parking There is room for two cars on the road outside Allonby Cottage, generally you will be able to use one or both of these. Occassionally these are taken by other visitors to Kippford but there are plenty of other roadside spaces up and down the village including some designated parking bays a little further down on the otherside of the road. You will usually find that you can move your car back to outside Allonby by the end of the day anyway. If you arrive and there is nowhere for you to park initially to unload no-one seems to mind if you just double park for a while to drop stuff off.
